Events and Fundraising

How you can help fundraising at Trinity Academy Eppleby Forcett and Middleton Tyas.

There are lots of ways that parents and friends of Trinity Academy EFMT can support the school financially.  The Friends, governors, teachers and pupils of Trinity Academy Eppleby Forcett and Middleton Tyas are always very grateful for the additional funds that can provide the equipment, resources and experiences that aren’t funded by the education authority.  Not everyone can help at or attend events so, if you would like to give find out how by clicking here

Involvement in the Friends fosters involvement in the life of the school.  Some of our most successful fundraising events are great social events too, like our Bingo nights, Christmas Wreath Making workshops and our Christmas and Summer Fairs are highlights in the school calendar.  We run some events, termly discos and film nights, expressly for the children and we provide refreshments at every school production.  We’ve also started Bake Sales and Ice Cream Fridays which are proving very popular. We are always looking for new ideas and welcome your input, so please get in touch with your ideas.  You can email us at or via our facebook page

We raise funds through various incentives which include; Easyfundraising, MyNameTags, Terracycle and a 100 Club.   Please see below for further details.

BAG2SCHOOL and Firefighters Charity

Several times a year we ask you to fill bags full of unwanted clothes, bags, shoes etc and bring them to school on a specific date. Friends receive cash in return from your unwanted goods which are then sorted and sent to be resold and reused. Look out for the dates of the next collections when you’re having a clear out.

We have raised over £200 so far this year with this initiative.  Please keep donating.  The next Bag2School collection is on Friday 7th June 2019 at both settings.

Being Green

The Friends collect EMPTY INK CARTRIDGES and PENS at both of our settings.  These are donated to Terracycle.  In addition to doing our bit for the environment and teaching our children about recycling, we raise funds for school.  Details can be found by visiting their website
